I'm a qualified Pilates instructor working in the Cambridge area.

Following a history of postural problems and injuries, I first started going to Pilates classes in early 2012. Having experienced significant benefits myself, I decided to train as an instructor.

I teach Stott Pilates, a contemporary approach to the original exercise method pioneered by the late Joseph Pilates, incorporating modern exercise principles.  Exercises are designed to improve core strength, restore the natural curves of the spine and balance the muscles around the joints.  Pilates provides a full body workout, is great for improving posture and correcting muscle imbalances, and increases strength and flexibility (which in turn reduces the likelihood of muscular injury).  I teach beginner, intermediate and advanced level Pilates matwork classes and one to one private reformer and mat classes.
